More Information

  • The Melukat Ceremony is a sacred Balinese purification ritual performed at natural holy springs, designed to cleanse the body, mind, and spirit of negative energy. Rooted in ancient Hindu-Balinese traditions, this experience offers a powerful moment of reflection, renewal, and connection to the island’s spiritual culture.

  • You’ll begin your journey in a traditional village in Tegallalang, where your spiritual guide will welcome you and help you dress in ceremonial attire. You'll learn the significance of the ceremony and prepare a personal offering before making your way to the holy springs.

  • Once at the sacred site, your spiritual guide will lead you step-by-step through the Melukat ritual. You enter the holy springs clothed in your Kebaya or Sarong and The water blessing involves moving through a series of spring fountains, each representing different aspects of purification. It is a quiet, meditative experience intended to bring peace, clarity, and balance.

  • Whether you seek emotional release, spiritual growth, or simply a unique cultural experience, this ceremony is a beautiful and respectful way to engage with Bali’s spiritual heritage.

  • Please Note: This is a deeply spiritual ceremony. Participants are kindly asked to dress modestly, follow guidance with respect, and approach the experience with reverence for Balinese customs.
  • Please also be mindful of mobile phone use during the ceremony – we encourage being fully present. Refrain from filming or taking photos during sacred parts of the ritual unless your spiritual guide advises it is appropriate.

  • Our friendly drivers will be available throughout your experience to help capture photos for you, so you can stay present and enjoy every moment without distractions.
